I’m so excited to share that one of my photographs was featured today in The Washington Post!

The image was taken during a session back in 2022 — a bit different from my usual equine and canine fine art portraits — but it turned out to be such a fun and rewarding experience. The photo features Ashlea Wooten-Chapple with her Ford Mustang Mach-E, captured out on a beautiful spring day surrounded by open fields and sunshine.

At the time, it was just one of those shoots that felt easy and full of good energy — we laughed a lot, enjoyed the scenery, and ended up with some great images that really showed her personality and style. Seeing one of those photos now published by a national outlet like The Washington Post is such an incredible honor.

While my heart will always belong to photographing horses, dogs, and other animals, I love moments like this that remind me how photography can connect people, stories, and art in unexpected ways.

This marks my third published photograph, and each one feels just as exciting as the first. I’m so grateful for the clients who trust me to capture their stories — and for the opportunities that continue to grow from those connections.
